Editor, Picture Perfect, Manila Bulletin
Ronald Jayme is the section editor of Picture Perfect, Manila Bulletin’s Special Section on photography published every Tuesday. He also used to handle the Special Supplement Section of the same = paper as editor. As a staunch supporter of photography, Ronald has been invited as judge/critique in various national photography competitions such as Epson Photo Imaging Exposition (EPix) in 2006, Canon Photo Marathon 2007, Epson Color Imaging Contest 2008, Standard Chartered Bank’s “Capturing Timeless Visions” photo contest (2012), FPPF PhotoWorld Cup, among others. He considers himself a true-blue artist, having been a participant of the photo exhibit dubbed “SQUINT: A Review of 2010 Images” organized by the Philippine Association of Fine Art Photographers (PAFAP) and Travel Foto Expo 2013 held in Manila and Davao. Although he finished a preparatory course (AB Political Science) for Law at Silliman University in Dumaguete City, his passion for music and arts has prevailed. From 2005 to 2007, Ronald was the main voice behind home-grown alternative-pop band Syato under Ivory Music and had a chance to perform on ABS-CBN’s ASAP, GMA 7’s SOP, and MYX.
