Charles Bridge is a stone Gothic bridge that connects the Old Town and Lesser Town (Malá Strana). It was actually called the Stone Bridge (Kamenný most) during its first several centuries. Its construction was commissioned by Czech king and Holy Roman Emperor Charles IV and began in 1357. (Kodak Tri-x, Hasselblad 503cx)

About Photographer

Paul Res is a Filipino photographer currently based in Manila. His curiosity for different places and different ways of living has brought him to new and sometimes unfamiliar places, from the deserts of Iran to the highlands of Tibet in order to capture the essence of those places and the lives of the people living there. Paul Res is a fine art photographer who shoots both in digital and film. He was chosen as "Photographer of the Year for 2015" by IPA-Philippines and was also a finalist for "Photographer of the Year 2015" at the "Lucie Awards" held at Carnegie Hall in New York.
