These are the portrait of the proud Indo-Aryan race of Ladakh, Jammu & Kashmir, India. With other friends, I traveled to the northernmost part of India in the area of high passes of Himalayas. These people are from Dah and Garkon village, they believed to have a pure Aryan blood who are descendants of Alexander the Great's army. They wear special woolen dresses and adorn themselves with shells, beads and pure silver jewelry in multiple layers. Goat skin capes are worn over the back, while unusual headdress decorated with flowers, coins, and seashells complete the look.
